The Artsy argument
Art is an interesting concept that can warp the definition of almost anything. For example, if I ask for a painting of a dog and an artist brings me back several painted paw prints many of my friends would probably tell me to be happy that I received such a unique painting. At first even I might be a little bit impressed that instead of giving me what I expected the artist surprised me. However, surprise can turn into cheated very quickly. After a few days I will realize that instead of getting a painting of a dog like I wanted I got the paw prints of the artist pet. That small anecdote is one of the many examples when the word art is used to make up for regulations or shortcomings. (To be continued)
What this blog is
I have been posting at this blog for quite some time now and I think its about time I give it some sort of identity. This blog was originally made for an assignment I had for AP English and language composition. However, I have finished the class and can't seem to let go of the blog. So this blog will basically be comprised of some of my ideas and concerns. Things that bother me, but I just like thinking them through instead of writing them out. So now that this blog finally has some sort of an identity I guess I can write in it a bit more.
