The Artsy argument
Art is an interesting concept that can warp the definition of almost anything. For example, if I ask for a painting of a dog and an artist brings me back several painted paw prints many of my friends would probably tell me to be happy that I received such a unique painting. At first even I might be a little bit impressed that instead of giving me what I expected the artist surprised me. However, surprise can turn into cheated very quickly. After a few days I will realize that instead of getting a painting of a dog like I wanted I got the paw prints of the artist pet. That small anecdote is one of the many examples when the word art is used to make up for regulations or shortcomings. (To be continued)
