Another War Book

The new book I have finally been lucky to discover is a very renown book well at least its title is. The book I have started to read now is Catch-22 and it has been excellent. It is very reminiscent of the hitchhikers guide and 1984. This combination of cruelty and humor is something I have never seen before, but the results makes one intruiging book. To explain Catch-22 all you need to do is explain what the title means. A Catch-22 is a situation where no matter what decision you make things will either stay the same or go for the worst. This feeling of hopelessness and despair has been placed through some of the most funniest scenarios I have ever heard of. From a major whose name was major major, to the loyalty pact. Yossarian the main character has to take on the war with the upmost highest level of sanity. His perspective is usually very cold and dark, but very real when you reflect on it. The humor of the book however keeps you from getting depressed or shaken as you would while reading a book like 1984.
